You can move one or more fixtures along pipes and straight truss. (Not curved truss.) See Moving for basic information on moving objects.
Tip: You may also choose the Move button from the Edit menu or the Move button from the Tools toolbar.
Result: If multiple fixtures are selected, line markers will appear to display where the fixtures will be positioned.
Tip: You may also type @, and a positive or negative move distance value along the hang structure, and then press ENTER (e.g. @5 or @-5).
Result: The fixture(s) moves to the destination pipe or truss.
You can move a single fixture from the floor to a hang structure and vice-versa. You can move a single fixture from a hang structure to the floor if the selected fixture can be inserted on the floor of your plot from the Library Browser.
Result: The selected fixture attaches to the cursor.
Tip: For precise placement, type the coordinate on the Command Line and press ENTER.
Result: The fixture moves to the floor in your drawing, at the height set by the Missing Coordinate (when working in Plan view), and its Position will update if previously assigned.
