You can place the following attribute labels around fixture symbols in WYSIWYG:
To set the position, visibility, color, and justification of these attributes, edit the Attribute Layout.
Note: To see which options you have turned on, you may need to enable the master visibility toggle from View Options > Wireframe Details tab before the specified attribute layout appears in the wireframe. For details, see the Wireframe Details tab.
You can edit attribute layouts at an application level, document level, or individual fixture level. To change the font used for the attributes, see To change the font in label layouts.
Changes that you make to a fixture’s attribute layout at the per-fixture level only affect the selected instances of the fixture in the current file. For detailed information about Individual-Level changes to Fixture Attribute Layouts, see Individual-Level_changes. There are two ways to change the attribute layout in this manner:
Result: The Edit Fixture Attribute Layout window appears.
Result: The Edit Fixture Attribute Layout window appears.
For more information on the Edit Fixture Attribute Layout window, see Using the Edit Fixture Attribute Layout window.
To change the attribute layout at the document level, you must browse the library from within a WYSIWYG file. Any changes made to the fixture’s attribute layout at the document level will only be applied to fixtures being inserted in the current file. New files containing the same fixtures will not be affected. For detailed information about Document-Level changes to Fixture Attribute Layouts, see Document-Level_changes.
Result: The Properties dialog box for the fixture appears.
Result: The Edit Fixture Attribute Layout window appears.
To change the attribute layout at an application level, you must browse the library from the WYSIWYG Welcome screen. Changes you make to a fixture’s attribute layout at the application level will appear for that fixture whenever a new WYSIWYG file is created. For detailed information about Application-Level changes to Fixture Attribute Layouts, see Application-Level_changes.
Note: Changes made to Fixture Attribute Layouts at the Application Level may be exported to WYSIWYG User Data Files, to be imported into other installations of WYSIWYG of the same version (on other computers) or into future versions/installations. For details, see Exporting user data.
